The premiere of Auschwitz Did Not Fall from the Sky was held at the Royal Łazienki Museum in Warsaw, gathering a distinguished audience that included Holocaust Survivors, government officials, members of the diplomatic corps representing more than 30 embassies, leaders of cultural institutions, business representatives, and friends of the Erase Indifference Foundation.
The documentary was initiated by Ambassador Ronald S. Lauder, President of the World Jewish Congress and the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial Foundation. The film was produced by Jacek Kastelaniec.
We are proud that, in cooperation with TVP, a Polish-language version of the documentary was created, featuring narration by Mateusz Damięcki.
The film serves as a powerful reminder that hatred, exclusion, and discrimination do not emerge overnight. They grow when societies become indifferent to injustice. By examining the historical conditions that made Auschwitz possible, the documentary encourages reflection on our shared responsibility to confront prejudice and intolerance in the present day.
Its message closely reflects the mission of the Erase Indifference Foundation: to challenge indifference and promote action whenever human dignity and equal rights are at risk.
