We counter indifference to discrimination by inspiring people to seek out and create new solutions that reduce it. We strive to build a world in which empathy and engagement prevail over passivity.

Vision

A world where people stand up for one another, where noticing discrimination is met with action, not indifference. We work to make that response the default, not the exception.

How it started

Erase Indifference started with a simple belief: the world needs more people who choose to care, speak up, and take action when they see discrimination or exclusion.

We are a group of people who believe that indifference is one of the biggest challenges we face today. Sometimes it comes from not knowing how to respond, and sometimes from choosing not to get involved. Either way, we believe that indifference can be challenged.

That is why we look for people and organizations around the world who are creating meaningful solutions. We discover and share their stories, ideas, and experiences to show that change is possible and to inspire others to act.

Through Erase Indifference, we want to create a space where people can find inspiration, learn from those who are already making a difference, and discover new ways to respond to discrimination, exclusion, and hate.
